Make the Sift and Get Interview Ready – RAIL: AI-Powered CV & Interview Preparation 🚆

Want to become a Trainee or Apprentice Train Driver? 🚄
Don’t let a poor CV or weak interview answers stop you at the first hurdle. Over 90% of applicants fail at sift or interview stage, often not due to ability - but because they don’t meet recruiter expectations.

RAIL (Rail AI Integrated Learning) is designed to give you a genuine advantage. It combines advanced AI technology with many hours of expert input from experienced rail recruiters, driver managers and interview assessors, all built into one powerful CV and interview coaching service.

This isn’t generic AI advice - it’s rail recruitment expertise, trained into an intelligent system that behaves like a real hiring manager.

✅ Why RAIL Works

🔹 Expert-Trained AI – RAIL-AI has been trained using real rail CVs, interview frameworks and assessor expectations.
🔹 Hiring-Manager Mindset – The AI assesses you using the same standards Train Operating Companies (TOCs) use.
🔹 RAIL-CV – AI-powered CV review tailored specifically to trainee and apprentice train driver recruitment.
🔹 RAIL-I – An interactive AI interviewer you can chat with and practise full mock interviews.
🔹 Personalised, Actionable Feedback – Clear guidance on what to improve, what to remove and what recruiters want to see.
🔹 Unlimited Practice – Refine your CV and interview answers as many times as you like.

Both tools are designed to help you pass sift and perform confidently at interview.

🤖 “Why not just use ChatGPT for free?”

It’s a fair question. Here's why not.

Although RAIL runs on top of ChatGPT(you’ll need a free ChatGPT account, which takes seconds to set up), the value of RAIL-AI is not the AI engine itself- it’s how it has been trained, structured and instructed.

RAIL:

  • Has been built using real recruiter and assessor experience
  • Uses bespoke prompts, scoring logic and challenge techniques
  • Responds like a rail hiring manager, not a generic chatbot
  • Knows what good looks like for trainee train driver selection - and what doesn’t

You could try to build this yourself in ChatGPT - but you’d need:

  • Deep knowledge of rail recruitment standards
  • Hundreds of hours real interview and CV review experience to create refined prompts
  • A clear understanding of how interview panels actually assess candidates

RAIL gives you that expertise instantly.
