The Train Driver Academy is committed to giving you the best chance of success. Our services are designed to assist you at all stages during the application process – from initial research to job offer.
Step 1 – Research the role. What do train drivers do? You’ll find detailed guidance on our website.
Step 2 – Find a company that is hiring. Use our search page. Register for email job alerts from every train company operating within 45 minutes to an hour of you.
Step 3 – Apply for a role. As soon as a job comes up, apply straight away. Let us review your CV before you submit it. 90% of applications fail at this stage. Don’t get rejected here.
Step 4 – Prepare for interview. Download our detailed interview guide complied by current hiring managers.
Step 5 – Practice for aptitude tests. Check out the psychometric page on our site for details and download our app from the app store to practice your skills.
Step 6 – Stand out from the crowd. Complete an eLearning course.
Step 7 – Hopefully a job offer from the hiring company.
We’re different from our competitors as we are current UK Train Drivers, Instructors, Managers, Recruiters and Assessors. We don’t deal with any other profession other than what we know best. Train Driving.
